Insurances Accepted

Because our Doctors handle both annual comprehensive eye exams for both glasses and contact lenses as well as office visits for medical eye issues (i.e., eye infections, injuries, monitoring of certain eye conditions) we will ask for details of your medical coverage and any separate vision plan coverage.

Most major medical insurance plans have a separate vision plan. To find out who your vision carrier is, please contact your human resources department or you can call your major medical plan's customer service and they will be able to provide you with that information. Virginia Eyecare Center participates with Vision Service Plan (VSP) and Davis Vision.

We accept most major insurances for medical eye claims. If your plan is an HMO plan, a referral from a Primary Care Physician will be needed in order for us to file a medical eye claim. Please note that we are a member of Anthem PPO's network, but are NOT a member of Anthem Healthkeepers.

Please note that we will be accepting Davis Vision through 12/31/10. As of 1/1/2011, we will no longer be Davis Vision providers. Please call us if you have any questions regarding your Davis Vision coverage.
